To The Mothers In My Life
Today I am spending mother’s day with my family and I am overwhelmed with love, gratitude, and happiness. This day now includes me in the celebration and has given me a new appreciation to not only the day but also to the mom’s in my life.
My Beautiful Mama
Mom, happy mother’s day! I am sorry I cannot be there to celebrate today with you. So much of who I am today I learned from you. Growing up I looked up to you in every way. I could never get enough time with you and my biggest goal in life was to make you proud.
Now that I am 26 and have my own family, I still feel the same way about you. But now I am lucky enough to call you my friend as well. While going through pregnancy I was so thankful for your support, guidance, and taking my 5am phone calls when Ryan was away.
We have had our ups and downs. We have had our moments where I would say I didn’t need you, I didn’t need your help, I can do it all on my own. But oh boy was I wrong. Mom, now that I am mom I need you more than ever.
Now you are the one I call multiple times a week to talk about being a mom, being a wife, goals in life, or calling just to say hi. Our relationship has evolved into something I cherish beyond words. I have a new understanding of what you have gone through an all I can think is, ‘Wow 4 girls is insane!’ I am sorry for the days we drove you crazy, but just know the four of us love you more than anything.
This mother’s day I want you to know how much I love you. I want you to know how much I appreciate you. Mom, I appreciate your advice on motherhood and I appreciate you letting me learn on my own. Your love and support, especially these last couple years, has helped get me through some tough times. We are on to new chapters of our lives but motherhood has brought us closer than ever before.
Mom, I love you so much! Thank you for everything.
My Incredible Mother-In-Law
God couldn’t have given me a better family to join. Marnie, thank you for welcoming me into your family since day one. I have always loved you and loved growing closer to you over the years.
Becoming a mom was an exciting and scary new adventure for me. You have been my saving grace since the beginning. I was not sure what to expect once Arya arrived and nervous about you not seeing me at my best. To my relief, you were patient with me and so supportive while I learned. You helped me when I needed it and let me try and try when I needed to learn on my own.
You have been my shoulder to cry on and someone I confide in. Our morning coffee conversations are some of my favorite. We have been so lucky to have so much time with you over the last year. Now that we are back in CA, I hope that doesn’t change.
This mother’s day means more because of all we have gone through together this last year. You raised the man of my dreams and then you helped me raise our daughter for most of the first year of her life. You have been a part of raising the two most important people in my life and their love for you is apparent. I hope my love for you is apprent too.
You are one of the most selfless wonderful people I have ever met. You do anything for your family and friends. This mother’s day I hope you take the time to enjoy all the things that mean the most to you. I wish we could be with you, but I am so excited that we will be seeing you in a matter of days!
Happy Mother’s Day, Marnie! Thank you for all that you do!
To All The Moms
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! Motherhood is no cake walk and you deserve to spend the day exactly as you want it.
Being a mom is the greatest blessing God could give. There is no manual. We are trying to be the best mom’s based off of pure unconditional love for another being we created. No love can match the one we have for our children.
This mother’s day be sure to tell your mom how much she means to you. Your mom loves you unconditionally and would do ANYTHING for you. You only have one mom, make sure you take a the time to let her know what she has done for you matters.
